Mohit brings over 15 years of experience in establishing effective administration and financial systems for diverse initiatives related to maternal and neo-natal health care, including the National Rural Health Mission and implementation of the Pre-Conception & Pre-Natal Diagnostic Tests Act, to his role as Administrative Assistant for Rise Up’s Gender Equity Initiative in India. Prior to joining Rise Up, he worked with Jhpiego, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Pathfinder International and National Polio Surveillance Unit at the World Health Organization. Mohit has coordinated workshops at national and global level. He firmly believes that accurate and timely information sharing and effective administrative and financial processes ensure project efficiency. He is extremely fond of his strong young daughter and is committed to helping to create a world for her of equal opportunities and a life free of stereotypes. He has a degree in political science.
