
Manager of Employment Inclusion for People with Disabilities, Juntos, Una Experiencia Compartida, A.C.
Monserrat Vázquez is a psychologist and a graduate of UASLP, with 14 years of professional experience in the health, industrial, and service sectors. Monserrat is currently the Labor Inclusion Manager at Juntos, Una Experiencia Compartida, A.C., where she has placed 402 people with disabilities in jobs in San Luis Potosí. An activist and change agent, Monserrat received the 2024 National Prize from the Coordinating Council of Women Entrepreneurs as a Representative Woman of an Organization.
Monserrat has received training from the National Electoral Institute (INE) on the political and democratic participation of women with disabilities, is a member of the Women’s Parliament of the Congress of the State of San Luis Potosí, serves on the Disability Committee of the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) in San Luis Potosí, and teaches inclusion at the National Pedagogical University No. 241. Monserrat has been recognized by the United Nations Development Fund for her work in the Training Model for Transitioning to a Human Rights Approach, Sustainable Development, and Inclusion, and holds a diploma from the Belisario Domínguez Institute of the Senate of the Republic in Political Violence Based on Gender.
