Nkosazana Haas is a social justice advocate and Executive Director of Asilindi Rural Empowerment, a water and environmental justice initiative based in KwaZulu-Natal. She leads community-driven efforts focused on advancing water rights, environmental protection, and equitable access to essential resources. Her work addresses systemic inequalities that limit opportunities for women and girls in rural communities, with a strong emphasis on education, healthcare, and sustainable development. Nkosazana holds a BA in Health Psychology and an Honours degree in Social Work, grounding her holistic, community-centered approach. She is committed to building inclusive systems that support dignity, wellbeing, and long-term resilience.
