Founder and Chairperson, Youth Inter-Active (YIA)
Nkosikhona is a community development activist who founded YIA to facilitate leadership, peer education, career guidance, and art and sports development for youth. He has over seven years of experience in adolescent sexual and reproductive health. He has received several awards for his championship of meaningful youth participation and inclusion, and he is a member of various councils and committees focused on youth engagement, health, and development, including eThekwini AIDS Council, the Community Advisory Board at CAPRISA, the HIV Vaccine Network Team, and Statistics South Africa (Stats SA) for Sustainable Development Goals. Nkosikhona is also a Muslim youth community leader who is actively involved in interfaith activities.
