Member, Colectiva Narrativas Dignas

Nydia is a human rights defender with Colectiva Narrativas Dignas, an organization focused on restoring the dignity of women victims of disappearance and femicide, as well as their families and communities. She actively works for women’s rights and has previous experience at Educación y Ciudadanía A.C. (Educiac) and other local collectives such as Sorora Santanera. Nydia is an anthropologist with a postgraduate degree in political affairs and public policy and has experience in research with a feminist approach. She coordinates projects with national and international funding to eradicate violence against women and build more just societies.
