Executive Director, Teenage Network | Nigeria
Olanike Timipa-Uge is an adolescent sexual and reproductive health advocate with nine years of experience in improving access to quality education and health for adolescent girls in Nigeria. In her current role as the Executive Director of Teenage Network, she balances classroom lessons with life-skills and comprehensive sexuality education for adolescent girls in school, facilitates the return of out-of-school adolescent mothers to school, and drives change in harmful sociocultural norms that promote violence against girls. Olanike has a background in nursing science and is currently a graduate student of public health.
