Oluwatimilehin Onafeso

Executive Director, Working to Advance Science and Technology Education for African Women Foundation

Timi Onafeso is a STEM and public health advocate with over a decade of experience in education, nonprofit management, youth development, and health programs across West Africa and Southeast Asia. As the Executive Director of Working to Advance Science and Technology Education for African Women Foundation, she leads STEM empowerment initiatives advancing education, leadership, and entrepreneurship for African women and girls.

Timi holds a master’s in public health and has served on the African Union Commission Task Force for Science, Technology, and Innovation Strategies for Africa 2034. She has a rich history of humanitarian work, including Ebola response in Liberia, support for IDP children in Nigeria, and recognition as a ‘Champion for Children’ by Save the Children and ‘Africa4Her Ambassador.’ An alumna of YALI and Lagos Business School, she is also an author and active Christian leader.
