Executive Director, Women & Girls Capabilities & Empowerment Organization
Oluwatoyin Olabisi a gender and development expert and the Executive Director of Women and Girls Capabilities and Empowerment Organization (WGCEO). In her current role, she is responsible for putting in place the organization’s strategic plans and working with the Board to analyze and assess the impact of program activities.
Oluwatoyin is passionate about the advancement of women and girls’ rights manifested in the design and implementation of programs that seek to amplify their agency and voice towards sustainable development.
She has a Master’s Degree in Development Studies majoring in Human Rights, Gender and Conflict Studies – Social Justice Perspectives and specializing in women and gender from the International Institute of Social Studies of Erasmus University The Hague Netherlands. Oluwatoyin is also an Associate Fellow of the Nigerian Leadership Initiative, a Young African Leaders Initiative Fellow, and a 2017 Mandela Washington Fellowship semi-finalist.
