Program Manager, Parenting for Liberation (P4L)
paradyse oakley is a community weaver, cultural worker, and birthworker dedicated to supporting Black families on their intergenerational healing journeys. At P4L, she navigates the balance of loving and protecting children while working towards family unification. Through the Innovation Lab, paradyse resources Black parents to address community issues through liberation, healing, and communal approaches. She also engages in coalition work to dismantle the family policing system. Her vision is to advocate for equity and accessibility for women, girls, and gender-nonconforming folxs in education, food justice, housing justice, social justice, and sexual and reproductive health and rights. paradyse holds a bachelor’s degree in community studies, critical race and ethnic studies, and politics, and specializes in reproductive and healing justice, community organizing, and gender and sexuality. paradyse is a Black Feminist Future member, Essie Sister, and We Got Us Now organizer.
