Poonam Jonwal is a feminist child protection activist. In her current role, she leads the Child Line Project. Poonam is a passionate advocate for the rights of children, especially education equity and protection for girls.

Poonam has a master’s degree in sociology and has been recognized by the state and district government for Better Work in Child Rights and Child Protection. She is an active member of the Child Protection and Sexual Harassement at Workplace committees in Shiv Shiksha Samiti Ranoli.
