Founder/CEO, FunmiJoy Social Development Foundation (FSDF)

Rashidat Raimi, an educator and advocate, is a 2020 Women Deliver Young Leader and serves as a Dove Youth Board Member. As the founder of FunmiJoy Social Development Foundation (FSDF), she envisions a world where women, children, and young people, particularly adolescent girls in Nigeria, possess the voice, choice, and agency to fulfill their potential.

A transformative experience as an alumnus of Global Xchange (Volunteering Services Overseas) nearly 12 years ago ignited Rashidat’s passion for the not-for-profit sector, revealing the potential to enhance humanity’s quality of life at the grassroots level. Alongside her educational background holding a BE.d in Primary Education from the University of Ilorin, Rashidat is a songwriter and singer, seamlessly integrating her artistic prowess with a dedicated commitment to instigating positive change.

Additionally, she is a member of UNODA Leaders2Future and a Global South Arts and Health Envoy.
