CEO, Ujhala Foundation

Ravi Kiran is the CEO of Ujhala Foundation, where he leads strategic, operational, and relational initiatives to foster safe, inclusive environments, build partnerships, and mobilize resources. A proponent of Learning, Unlearning, and Relearning (LURE), he drives programs that empower women, girls, and gender-nonconforming individuals through education and equitable opportunities.

Ravi began his career in IT and Japanese teaching before co-founding Ujhala Foundation through his iDISCOVER fellowship experiences. He has been recognized for integrating out-of-school children into government schools and invited by NCERT to contribute to national book promotion guidelines. He presented research on contextual, bilingual educational materials at Kalvi Kural 2025, reflecting his commitment to inclusive, community-centered educational initiatives.
