Founder and Executive Director, Project Vivas | Brazil

Rebeca is Founder and Executive Director of the Project Vivas, founded in 2020, which helps women, girls, and people with the ability to conceive gain access to legal abortion services in Brazil, Argentina, and Colombia. Rebeca is a lawyer and an activist for sexual and reproductive rights. In 2017, Rebeca was the first woman in Latin America to petition Brazil’s Supreme Court for the right to have a legal abortion.
