Senior Human Resources Generalist, Cummins Africa Middle-East

René supports human resources activities for the Corporate Functions  within Cummins AME. Her career spans over 30 years in related administrative roles for large corporations. She also led the Cummins Magwa Community Involvement Team committee, ensuring corporate sustainability projects and initiatives were executed in line with Cummins’ Corporate Responsibility Strategy. Recently, she joined the newly formed Disability Employee Resource Group for Cummins AME.

René’s true passion is serving and protecting the rights of vulnerable populations, especially women, children, and persons with disabilities, as a person with a disability herself. She is currently studying toward a Bachelor of Commerce in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. René was awarded a Cummins Global Impact Award in 2019.
