Program Manager, Mahila Jan Adhikar Samiti

Renu Arya (Rain) is a young feminist rooted in community, creativity, and care, working with Mahila Jan Adhikar Samiti (MJAS). She uses storytelling, theatre, and technology to amplify girls’ voices and inspire social change.

Passionate about advancing social justice and equity, Rain works closely with communities to create spaces where women, girls, and gender-nonconforming people can access opportunities, claim their rights, and build collective power.

She holds a degree in political science (Honours) from Delhi University and brings extensive experience in grassroots organizing, media, and gender justice. Her work – recognized in community spaces for nurturing girls’ leadership – combines creativity and advocacy to challenge discrimination and promote feminist storytelling.
