Rhoda Omoile Omorodion

Rhoda is a social entrepreneur, patient advocate, and the Executive Director of the Care and Development Centre (CADEC), leading programs that improve the well-being and socio-economic welfare of vulnerable communities. She has worked with local and international NGOs since 2003, focusing on women’s health, sustainable livelihoods, and cultural promotion. Rhoda holds an MSc in Gender and Development Studies and is pursuing a PhD at the University of Port Harcourt. Her work has been recognized by the National Primary Health Care Development Agency and the World Health Organization for contributions to HPV rollout and meningitis awareness campaigns. She is also the author of Wrong-Culture, highlighting challenges African women face navigating traditional customs.
