Rise Up’s 2022 Annual Report is out now! We hope you take a few minutes to read and celebrate the amazing gender equity achievements we made together. 

Last year, Rise Up positively impacted 3.3 million people around the world and Rise Up Leaders successfully advocated for 18 new laws, policies, and programs to ensure that girls can finish school, young people can access sexual and reproductive health services, and women can achieve economic mobility. We also trained 81 Rise Up Leaders in our global network and awarded more than half a million dollars in grant funding to support leaders’ advocacy.

In the report, we spotlight incredible Rise Up Leaders like Silvia Alejandra Holguin Cinco in Mexico who is passionate about amplifying the voices of women and young people. With training and support from Rise Up, Silvia and and her organization, Mukira, Justicia, Género y Buenas Prácticas A.C., fostered a collaborative dialogue between young women and political candidates to achieve clear policy commitments and a budget to promote gender equality, non-violence, and political representation for more than one million women and young people in Mexico.
