Last month, Rise Up Together joined thousands of advocates, funders, policymakers, and movement leaders in Narrm (Melbourne), Australia for Women Deliver 2026 – a global gathering focused on co-creating strategies to advance gender equality. Our delegation included Rise Up Together’s Co-founder and Executive Director Denise Dunning, our Director of Strategic Partnerships Jennifer Broome, several members of our Leadership Council, a community of committed supporters and advisors, and Rise Up Leaders from around the world, all coming together to exchange ideas, strengthen relationships, and explore opportunities for deeper collaboration.

“Representing Rise Up Together at Women Deliver 2026 was both energizing and deeply affirming. It was uplifting and inspiring to be surrounded by 6,100+ feminists from 189 countries, all working to create a more just and equitable world for current and future generations,” reflected Jennifer. “One of the most powerful parts of the experience was seeing Rise Up Leaders lead bold conversations and dynamic sessions grounded in lived experience, community leadership, and real solutions. Their vision, expertise, and commitment to change is exactly why investing in local leaders matters.”
Throughout the conference, our community participated in powerful conversations on gender justice, health equity, climate, youth leadership, and movement building in a rapidly shifting global landscape, marred by deepening resource constraints. We’re proud to share reflections and highlights from our delegation, including insights from Rise Up Leaders and partners who are driving change in their communities and beyond.
