Dear Friends,

We’re still processing last week’s devastating decision by the U.S. Supreme Court to overturn almost 50 years of legal precedent and strike down Roe v. Wade. We knew the decision was coming, but that doesn’t ease our shock, grief, and outrage. 

The ability of all women, girls, and gender-nonconforming people to make decisions about their own bodies without government interference is a basic human right that is integral to achieving gender justice. 

Even as we grieve, we remain steadfast and unwavering in our commitment to advancing gender justice in all its forms, including access to abortion and reproductive health care. We will continue partnering with Rise Up Leaders and their reproductive health, rights, and justice organizations on the frontlines, protecting abortion access today and every day.

Recently, we joined the Women’s Funding Network and a powerful group of organizations addressing equity and justice issues in a pledge to protect bodily autonomy and abortion access – check it out for helpful resources and ways you can take action to support our movement for the long-term.   

As painful as this news is, please don’t lose hope. We’re in this together, and we won’t give up.
