Hope for the Village Child Foundation

Ruth is the Education Coordinator with Hope for the Village Child Foundation (HVCF), a local organization working to improve sexual and reproductive health, maternal and child health, peace building, economic empowerment, literacy, and access to education in rural Nigeria for women and youth. She has over 10 years of experience working with civil society organizations and planning and implementing programs focusing on women’s, youth, and girls’ issues. Her passion for women’s and girls’ rights stems from her own personal experiences and struggles, which inspire her to share her story and encourage other women and girls to keep pushing to attain their goals and advocate for themselves.
