Samaila facilitated formation of Amana, which he now runs. He is a member of several committees and advocacy bodies including the steering committee of Treatment Action Movement (TAM), Action Aid Nigeria General Assembly & the National HCT Task Team. He holds a Higher National Diploma in English and has worked as Primary School Teacher and for the Nigeria Police Force. He speaks English, French and Hausa fluently.
