Sandhya Gautam is a development practitioner and advocate for women’s health and rights, with over two decades of experience in grassroots work, research, training, networking and advocacy. As a Board Member and mentor at Shri Jan Jeevan Kalyan Sansthan (SJJKS), she focuses on advancing sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) for marginalized communities, single women, adolescents, and youth.
Sandhya is deeply committed to building leadership among young women from socially excluded backgrounds, empowering them to claim their rights and access quality SRHR services. A founding member of the Single Women’s Forum in Himachal Pradesh, she works within gender and equity frameworks to strengthen social accountability in health. Sandhya holds a master’s degree in social work from Kurukshetra University, Haryana.
