Program Organizer, Vikalp Sansthan
Savita Chadana is a community leader with Vikalp Sansthan, where she leads workshops, facilitates meetings with girls in Gogunda Block, and supports training, planning, and capacity-building initiatives. Originally from Obra Kala village in Rajasthan’s Udaipur district, Savita overcame significant challenges to continue her education when her family discouraged her from attending college. Her determination led her to complete a fellowship with Vikalp Sansthan and training in community health work at Alakh Nayan Health Centre.
Today, Savita works closely with girls, boys, and parents in her community to promote education, gender equality, and empowerment. She designs sessions based on the needs of girls and women, encouraging open discussions about opportunities and inspiring others to challenge restrictive norms and create a more equitable future.
