
Member, Colectiva Por Ellas, Por Nosotras y Por Todas
Sofia Córdova Nava is a social anthropologist and a member of the collective Por Ellas, Por Nosotras y Por Todas (For Them, For Us, and For All). Her current work as a women’s human rights advocate focuses on the psychosocial approach to supporting victims and preparing anthropological reports with a gender perspective. Using these tools, she collaborates in processes of struggle for justice, memory, truth, and reparations in cases of serious human rights violations.
Sofia works with feminist collectives and civil society organizations, such as Educación y Ciudadanía, A.C., Narrativas Dignas, and Dignidad Es Todas las Justicias. A visual anthropologist and photographer, she specializes in participatory and audiovisual methodologies, with extensive experience promoting and coordinating projects for gender and social justice.
