Sofia began her legislative advocacy by co-authoring an initiative with Frente Marea Verde to decriminalize abortion up to the twelfth week of gestation. She actively promotes a feminist and inclusive political agenda in her municipality. As a law student at the National Autonomous University of Mexico, Sofia is deeply committed to building a more just and egalitarian society. Her goal is to secure full access to sexual, reproductive, and environmental rights for women. Sofia strives to transform cultural norms and create a better world for future generations.
