As a public health professional with a medical background, Souvik’s advocacy in the field has focused on human rights and the shared understanding that abortion is socially unacceptable. He has been an active participant in the David and Lucile Packard Foundation’s Youth Advisory Group on Abortion Stigma. Souvik hopes to debunk many of the myths that exist around abortion in India and build a broad base of support for young people.
