Secretary, Jharkhand Vikas Parishad

After 10 years working in the social sector as a community activist, Subasini Soren became a leader and organizer with expertise in community mobilization and women’s empowerment. Currently, Subasini is Secretary at Jharkhand Vikas Parishad, where she has worked for the past 24 years. She is involved in uplifting the social and life status of various marginalized groups including Dalit, Adivasi, children, and adolescents. In addition, Subasini works on improved agriculture, water management, education, and health in rural communities. She is recognized as a chief functionary by Jharkhand Vikas Parishad.
