Sulekha is a social activist working for women and girls’ rights. She is currently a campaign coordinator, working for the identity and reorganization of women farmers. She is interested in advocacy and social justice for women and girls, particularly gender equality, and has been an active leader in promoting awareness of sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) issues with adolescent girls. She has been vocal in raising the issues of the declining sex ratio and contributed to Action’s Save the Girl Child Campaign. She also passionately developed many young girls’ leadership and has been recognized by Action Aid for her work in the Beti Zindabad campaign. Sulekha holds a master’s degree in sociology.
