Tarushikha is passionate about gender issues and advocating for women’s rights in order to achieve gender equality. She is involved in program design and management and uses social media as a tool to write case studies that reflect the work of grassroots organizations. She has presented about development challenges facing Asian countries at both the International Conference on Asia and the Pacific Stakeholders’ Dialogue on European Development Cooperation held in Indonesia She has also been involved in various research studies that monitor development projects concerning health and education. Tarushikha has a postgraduate degree in philanthropic social work. She has met many inspiring people in her professional life who motivate her to keep doing the work she does and create a difference in others’ lives.
