Tejaswi has worked for over 23 years as a facilitator for the only sex workers’ collective in Pune. Her aim is to empower this highly stigmatized and vulnerable community through the process of collectivization. The objective of her work is to support the voices of these women in their struggle to access justice and equal opportunity, as well as dignity and respect. She works with this collective to prevent human trafficking. Tejaswi is a master trainer for the Empowerment Institute and PhD scholar of Tata Institute of Social Sciences.
