Teresa López is a feminist environmental activist and advocate for women’s sexual and reproductive rights. In her current role, she promotes responsible public policies and gender equality while collaborating with civil society organizations to amplify the impact of their initiatives. Her work also centers on environmental preservation and sustainability. Teresa seeks to contribute to the creation of safe spaces that promote equity, autonomy, and the full exercise of women’s rights.
Teresa holds a degree in Environmental Engineering and received an honorable mention in the San Luis Potosí Municipal Youth Award for her social action work leading menstrual health workshops. She currently serves as President of the Municipal Youth Council (2025–2027) and previously advised the youth advisory group of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
