Programme Officer, Centre for Community Impact

Thereso P. Kanyane is a Public Health Specialist and Human Rights Defender serving as Programme Officer for Community Systems Strengthening at the Centre for Community Impact. In her role, she works to improve access to equitable and non-discriminatory health services. Thereso is passionate about building inclusive systems that enable individuals to exercise their rights, access quality care, and make informed choices free from discrimination. Her work focuses on advancing social justice, education, and sexual and reproductive health rights. She holds a Master’s in Public Health and has completed additional training in Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity and Expression (SOGIE). She has also participated in global learning initiatives focused on disability inclusion and SRHR.
