Tony Bonani Miyambo is an award-winning actor, theatre maker, and art activist known for powerful solo performances like Kafka’s Ape and The Cenotaph of Dan Wa Moriri. Based in Johannesburg, Tony brings a unique voice to social issues through storytelling and performance. As Creative Director of Noma Yini, he uses the arts to challenge norms and spark dialogue – especially around sexual and reproductive health. A graduate of the University of the Witwatersrand’s Dramatic Arts program, Tony continues to shape the cultural landscape through innovative theatre and media work. With a keen eye for innovative storytelling, Tony pushes boundaries and inspires audiences through his work in theatre and beyond.
