Executive Director, Center for Human Awareness and Intellectual Development | Nigeria

Uche Obioha T. is a social reformer with  passion towards enthroning social justice, particularly in the areas of education and gender equity. Over the years, Uche has been driving social changes in the local government areas and communities of Nasarawa State. She is the founder and the executive director of Center for Human Awareness and Intellectual Development (CHAID). She presently coordinates CSACEFA Nasarawa, a coalition of all NGO, CBO, and FBOs working in education issues in Nigeria. Uche is excited to be a part of the 2022 Rise Up Nigeria Cohort and looks forward to making a greater impact through the Rise Up platform.
