Individual Giving Manager

Valerie serves as the Individual Giving Manager where she cultivates annual and mid-level individual philanthropic support through multi-channel campaigns and thoughtful stewardship. She loves connecting with donors to help them fulfill their own philanthropic missions. Valerie has more than a decade of experience in nonprofit fundraising and 15 years at various nonprofit organizations including Counterpart International, the National Peace Corps Association, and Global Refuge. She served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Tanzania and holds a master’s degree in International Education with a focus on experiential learning. She is driven by a deep commitment to advancing social change and uplifting marginalized communities.

Valerie lives in Washington, D.C. where she always makes time for the outdoors and travel. Her hobbies and interests are continuously evolving, but the one constant is her love of learning new things.
