Shelter Program Manager, Haven Women’s Center
Venesa serves as Shelter Program Manager for Haven Women’s Center, where she manages the emergency shelter program that provides safe haven and support to survivors of intimate partner violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. With over 20 years of experience in project management, planning, coordination, and human services, she stands strongly behind the right for all women to live free of violence and seeks to empower them through education. Venesa is passionate about rallying the support of visionaries and leaders to bring accountability and justice back to the legislative systems responsible for the safety of the women and children in her community. She holds a degree in legal administration, is currently completing her bachelor’s degree in business management, and will begin her master’s program in public administration in 2020.
