Director of Programs and Advocacy, Binti Network

Wairimu Gathu is the Co-Founder and Director of Advocacy at Binti Network, a feminist organization dedicated to building foundations for girls and young women to positively impact communities. Guided by the belief that liberation for girls starts with a shift in power and system dynamics, Wairimu leads the implementation of Signals – a data-driven advocacy program serving as a platform to collaborate with key institutions and communities to support action for girls’ autonomy of body, thought, influence and opportunity.
