Yesica Yolanda is an activist, feminist scholar, and research professor at the Autonomous University of San Luis Potosí. Her work focuses on two key areas: violence against women and sexual and reproductive health. Through her social health research, she advocates for the right of girls and women to live free from violence and with full respect for their sexual and reproductive rights. Trained as a nurse and holding a PhD in social sciences, Yesica Yolanda has received state, national, and international recognition for her contributions to women’s health and their right to live without violence.
