Rene is a Health Educator with the Ministry of Public Health and Social Assistance (MSPAS). As a health promoter, he works on addressing issues surrounding children and adolescents in rural Guatemala.  

Sara Castellanos Montufar

Sara is the Communications Coordinator for ALAS (WINGS) Guatemala and coordinates the Guatemala Political Advocacy Program, where she encourages and promotes gender equality.  Sara works to empower women leaders and promote knowledge on political advocacy, SRH, gender and leadership; through national advocacy campaigns about adolescent pregnancy and sexual and reproductive rights.

Saúl Interiano Ramirez

Saúl is the founder and director of COINCIDIR, which works to promote and protect the rights of children and adolescents. He dreams that one day everyone will have access to basic human rights. Saúl is a children and adolescent rights advocate, educator, and poet.

Tracie M. Saravia

Tracie is the General Coordinator for the Advocates for Children and Adolescents Collective, and the technical secretary for the Observatory on Sexual and Reproductive Health (OSAR) in Jalapa. Tomasa Fabiola Perez Hernandez

Tomasa is a trainer at the Asociación IDEI in Quetzalquenango. She has worked with AGALI to create the Municipal Offices for Children and Adolescents. Tomasa is currently working towards a degree in Secondary Education in Mathematics and Physics at the University of San Carlos.

Danessa Luna

Danessa is the founder and Director of Asociación Generando (ASOGEN) in Chimaltenango and has dedicated her life to promoting gender equality and helping women confront and overcome violence.  ASOGEN focuses on leadership, empowerment, and teaching adolescent girls’ how to defend their human rights. Danessa studied Sociology at the University of San Carlos.

Diego Mejía Calel

Diego is Technical Coordinator for Children’s Hope Foundation (CHILDHOPE) in Guatemala City. He works towards eliminating child labor in Guatemala and to promote adolescent sexual and reproductive health. He belongs to the K’iche’ Mayan ethnic group. Diego is currently obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Law and Social Sciences at the Mariano Galvez University of Guatemala.

Dora Alonzo

She is an Educational Facilitator for the Asociación IDEI in Quetzaltenango. She belongs to the K’iche’ Maya ethnic group. Dora received a teaching degree in 2010, and is currently studying law at the University of San Carlos.

Edith Janeth Revolorio

Edith is a Social Worker at the Psychosocial Care Center of CONACMI in Guatemala City, which focuses on treatment and prevention of child abuse.  She is also a member of Young Christian Workers of America-JOCA. Edith has a degree in Social Work with emphasis on development management, a degree in Politics and Citizenship Education and a diploma in Christian Spirituality.

Eunice Ramirez

Eunice is the Communications Coordinator for Association for Human Development Center in Quetzaltenango.
