Carolina Reyes is the Deputy Coordinator of the Women’s Movement of the Colonia Lopez Arellano. She is a feminist and human rights defender, with 15 years of experience working with women and girls and adolescents in the municipality of Choloma, Cortes. She is has participated in the program Mujeres Adelante: Central American and Caribbean Women’s Delegation to End Gender-Based Violence.

Anabel Hernandez Muñoz is the Coordinator of the Women’s Solidarity Commission of Honduras, where she advocates for the welfare of women with municipal authorities in Copan. She works with women who have experienced domestic violence, provides legal support, psychological care and promotes entrepreneurship. Anabel has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

Thelma Fabiola works tirelessly to create positive changes in the lives of young people in her community. She is coordinator for the “Revista Jóvenes” magazine and promotes the CREA Sexual and Reproductive Health project, by the Organization for Youth Empowerment. Thelma has a college degree in Journalism at the Honduras National Autonomous University.

Sonia is committed to improving health outcomes of the Garifuna. She is Project Coordinator for the Prevention of Sexually Transmitted Infections and HIV project in the EcoSalud organization. Sonia is proud to be from Garifuna, and is passionate about her work, because she has the chance to teach about healthy behavior and learn from others.

Reyna is dedicated to improving the lives of women in Honduras. She teaches Women’s Studies at the Sociology Department at the National Autonomous University of Honduras and is an independent consultant in Gender and Development. Reyna is an educator and has a Master’s degree in Social Work and Development Administration.
