How local leaders and organizations are driving global change
For the past 17 years, Rise Up Together has partnered with local civil society leaders advancing gender justice in their communities around the world – building collective power to expand opportunity, influence systems, and drive lasting change.
Today, we’re proud to unveil updated cumulative impact numbers reflecting more than a decade of global advocacy and impact through the end of 2025.

These numbers represent more than statistics. They represent girls in Kenya accessing menstrual health support so they can stay in school, local leaders in Nigeria advancing climate policies that protect girls’ futures, women in India breaking barriers in male-dominated industries, survivors of violence in Mexico and South Africa receiving critical support, and families in California gaining access to more equitable maternal health care.
Behind every policy victory are local Rise Up Leaders organizing communities, engaging decision-makers, and pushing for systems that better serve women, girls, and gender-nonconforming people.
Together, these efforts contribute to stronger democratic systems and more equitable futures for millions of people worldwide.
Every number shared here reflects the determination of local leaders and the strength of a global community committed to justice and equity. While these milestones are significant, the work toward gender justice is far from over. Thank you for being part of this movement and for helping turn possibility into transformational solutions.
