Roberto is an actor and entertainer, and activist who combines his diverse skills to advocate for numerous social issues, including health, the environment, and the preservation of the Mayan culture.  He works as consultant for various organizations that support adolescent sexual and reproductive health. He is a traditional Mayan medicine man (Ajq’ij). Roberto is a 2005 GOJoven Fellow.

Rebeca is the Regional Advocacy Coordinator for the Ecumenical Center for Pastoral Integration (CEIPA), which promotes the human rights of children and adolescents in Guatemala. She is currently working towards a degree in Business Administration.

Carmen coordinates gender issues for the Cross-Sectional Health Program of the Guatemalan Ministry of Public Health and Social Assistance (MSPAS). Daniel is the founder and Director of the Youth Step Collective, a youth organization that advocates for youth-friendly laws and policies. He has an accreditation from the Ministry of Public Health and Social Assistance in adolescent sex education and STD/HIV/AIDS prevention. Daniel is trained as an accountant, and he is currently studying Business Administration at Mariano Gálvez University.

Guillermo is a Program Coordinator for ChildFund International Guatemala. He is the founder and Vice-President of the PAZ JOVEN Association, and a founding member of the National Association of Cefistas in Guatemala.

Hugo is a social worker, independent consultant, and professor at Rafael Landivar University in the Faculty of Political Science and Social Work. He is also the Technical Secretary at the Reproductive Health Observatory (OSAR) in Chimalteango. He has a degree in Social Work with a concentration in development management from Rafael Landivar University.

Luisa is Social Work Supervisor for the Guatemalan Social Security Institute’s Adolescent Pregnancy program of the IGSS Antenatal Clinic, and is a member of the Intersectoral Commission of the Guatemalan Ministry of Public Health and Social Assistance. She is a graduate of San Carlos University with a degree in Social Work.

Maria has been the Let Girls Lead Guatemala Country Representative since 2011. She has extensive experience working with adolescents involved in the juvenile justice system and is a professor at Rafael Landivar University in the Faculty of Social and Political Science.  She has a degree in Social Work with a concentration in development management from Rafael Landivar University.
